How Peptide Purity Testing Works


Every batch Agape Compounds sources undergoes third-party testing before it’s made available. Here’s what that process actually verifies, and why each test matters.

HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography)

Measures purity — what percentage of the sample is the compound it claims to be, versus synthesis byproducts or degradation products.

Mass spectrometry

Confirms molecular identity — verifying the compound is structurally what it claims to be, independent of how pure the sample is. A sample can be 99% pure and still be the wrong molecule; mass spec is what rules that out.

Heavy metals screening (ICP-MS)

Screens for contamination introduced during the manufacturing process.

Microbial testing (TAMC/TYMC)

Checks for bacterial and fungal contamination in the sample.

Why this matters for research validity

Research built on a contaminated or misidentified compound produces unreliable data. Third-party verification, testing done by a lab with no financial stake in the result, is what separates a genuine purity claim from a marketing one.
